Permitted payments and Tenant protection information
As well as paying the rent, the Tenant may also be required to make the following permitted payments:
Before the tenancy starts (payable to Purdie & Swan)
Holding Deposit: One week’s rent
Deposit: Five weeks’ rent
During the tenancy (payable to Purdie & Swan)
Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3 % above the base lending rate of the Bank of England
Payment for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices
Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with the Tenant giving early termination on the tenancy
Payment of £50 inclusive of VAT if the Tenant wishes to change the tenancy agreement with Landlord approval
